Anzél Gerber and Ben Schoeman perform Stefans Grové’s Double Concerto “Khoisan Prayers” with the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 2013, the illustrious South African composer Stefans Grové (1922-2014) composed a Concerto for Cello, Piano and Orchestra (with narrator) for the Gerber/Schoeman duo. The subtitle of the work is “Khoisan Prayers” and the three movements are based on the poetry of GR von Wielligh. This forms part of the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra’s Winter Season and the concert takes place at the beautiful Durban City Hall.
